An educational thought leader told me that the lecture is dead. My immediate thought was the sage on the stage is indeed dead. Most students can’t handle a 60 minute lecture. Then I came across the book “Presentation Zen” from Garr Reynolds. It showed me that perhaps the bullet point presentation is dead and the lecture needs to be redesigned and rethought. Watch the above TED video and see how powerful storytelling can be compelling, emotional, and memorable.
